1. Acceptance of Terms & Operator

Ahtiyaat is a platform currently operated and maintained by Syed Ali Hasnain Rizvi, based in Karachi, Pakistan. By creating an account or using the Ahtiyaat app or website, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use Ahtiyaat.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Ahtiyaat. By creating an account you confirm that you meet this requirement. Users under 18 should have parental consent.

3. Your Account

• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password
• You must provide accurate information when creating your account
• You may not share your account with others or create multiple accounts
• Notify us immediately at contact@ahtiyaat.com if you suspect unauthorised access

4. Reporting Rules

Ahtiyaat exists to keep people safe. With that in mind:

• Only report real incidents. Filing false reports to mislead other users is a serious violation and will result in immediate account suspension
• Only vote on incidents you can physically verify. The 1km geo-fence exists for a reason — do not attempt to circumvent it
• Do not include personal details of individuals (names, vehicle plates, photos) in reports
• Do not use reports to target, harass, or defame any person or organisation
• Chai Pani reports must relate to observable traffic police activity only — do not name or identify specific officers

5. Prohibited Conduct

You may not use Ahtiyaat to:

• File false, misleading, or malicious incident reports
• Harass, threaten, or defame any individual
• Attempt to reverse engineer, hack, or disrupt the platform
• Scrape, copy, or redistribute Ahtiyaat data without permission
• Use the platform for commercial purposes without written consent from Ahtiyaat
• Violate any applicable Pakistani law

6. Student Verification

To access the free student tier you must submit valid identity and enrollment documents. By submitting these documents you confirm they are genuine. Submitting fraudulent documents to obtain free access will result in permanent account suspension and may be reported to relevant authorities.

Student access remains free until your graduation date as indicated on your submitted documents. After graduation your account will move to the standard paid tier.

7. Pricing and Payments

Ahtiyaat is free for all users for the first 6 months following public launch. After this period, continued access requires a subscription of PKR 200 per month.

We reserve the right to change pricing with at least 30 days notice to existing users. If you do not wish to continue at the new price, you may cancel your account before the change takes effect.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

Ahtiyaat provides community-generated safety information on an "as is" basis. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any incident report. Do not rely solely on Ahtiyaat for personal safety decisions. Always use your own judgment and contact emergency services (15, 115, 1122) when needed.

We are not liable for any harm arising from your reliance on information displayed on Ahtiyaat.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Pakistani law, Ahtiyaat and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates these terms, without prior notice. You may delete your account at any time from the profile screen in the app or by emailing contact@ahtiyaat.com.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Karachi, Pakistan.
